I’m Bitching and Moening

Today I want to continue with yesterday’s post by looking at another ADA case. This one, while quite disappointing, doesn’t really rise to the level of the judge cheating.

It is also a case that gets closer to something that a barefooter would care about.

How Judges Cheat — Part 5

I’ve been looking a bit lately at the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and how it might apply to some barefooters. In the process, I’ve come across even more examples of how judges cheat, so I might as well add it to my “How Judges Cheat” series.

It also adds a different perspective to my thoughts on how the ADA might apply to barefooters.

Saturday Comic

This comic appeared last year on January 7, 2015. It’s from the strip The Buckets, and is drawn by Greg Cravens, who took over the strip from its creator, Scott Stantis.

Saturday Comic

Saturday Comic

Dismindfulness

I know it’s been a long time since I last wrote here. I’m afraid the Muses have left me. However, I do want to at least do a summary wrap-up post with some observations about the interaction between my last trip Out West and barefootedness.

If you read all the entries, you’ll know that there were times that I donned footwear (even though I had really, really hoped not to resort to it). Here are some observations and realizations I acquired through that experience.

Saturday Comic

Here’s a strip from the comic Pickles, which follows a retired couple. The following appeared on April 14, 2012.

It applies an old joke to Legos.

Actually, when you go barefoot a lot your soles build up and Legos really aren’t that bad . . .
