I don’t understand the reluctance to wash feet, they are usually cleaned up reasonably well within one minute. I do that in the shower with warm water.
I was born a few years too late to “get the message” that boys don’t like to bathe, it seems. The meme can be found in literature up to the early 1980s at least. I never understood what’s the point.
