You’ve probably already heard about this year’s barefoot survey on other venues.
This is your reminder, if you haven’t filled it out already, not to forget to do so. In fact, why don’t you do it right now?
Here it is: Barefoot Survey 2014.
Are you still reading this? Why? You’re supposed to be answering the survey! Only continue after you’ve taken it. 🙂
And if you haven’t heard of it before, barefooter Anemone Cerridwen is running a barefoot survey. She did it last year too, and of course looking at the results was quite interesting. What will be even more interesting is looking at the results over the years as the data builds up.
There is a change from last year: there is now a section regarding minimalist footwear.
A special request from Anemone: she needs more women to fill out the survey. So, if you are a woman (or know one) who goes barefoot, give yourself (or her) a poke. It will really help to get more balanced data.
If you are interested, you can look at last year’s survey here, and last year’s results here.
But only after you’ve answered this year’s survey.
Just filled it out! I think that the survey does need to cover a few more bases (such as where you go barefoot). Unfortunately I forgot to say that before I pressed submit…. Also, I think the minimalist part is a little too much of a copy-paste of the barefoot section, there are a lot of problems that minimalist shoe wearers have that aren’t on there, and a few that new barefooters might have that ARE, for some reason. :p
I think it also needs a section on shoes! For example, what is the worst injury you have had while wearing shoes? Have you ever had stress fractures? An object go through the shoe? Sprained ankles? Athlete’s foot? Etc. Could be useful to know.
