Oh my! Oh my! He is wearing a necktie to a hike with his grandkids! You Americans never cease to surprise me as a culture. Are you still as uptight as that?
Just think about some old movies, like “The Maltese Falcon” or “The Big Sleep”. That’s really how men dressed back then (unless they were day laborers). Suit and tie, and a hat.
No, we no longer do that (and there are still older folks who bemoan it, or complain about younger folks wearing baseball caps indoors).
Yeah, burrs will happen if you don’t do it for fifty years.
