There is a new Allstate commercial out that is just extraordinary.
Let’s take a look.
You’d think an insurance company would be trying to tamp down any risky behavior. But they’re not. They’re saying that the extra things that we do add, well, life to our life.
And being barefoot is part of that too. Yay!
As the voiceover says, “We still go looking for adventure.”
And there is even some barefoot rockclimbing.
Here the voiceover is starting to say,
Because I think deep down we know, all the bad things that can happen in life, they can’t stop us from making our lives . . . good.
How refreshing. (Ok, maybe Allstate is trying to drum up business.)
Regardless, it is true. Just because something is slightly risky is no reason to stop doing it.
Because it makes our lives . . . good.
And barefooting is major in that regard.
Here’s the full advertisement.
Enjoy.
That is refreshing. It’s like if a company making anti-bacterial spray saying that most germs are 0k and that you should only use their product on really nasty stuff like your toilet.
Enjoy life. Take reasonable risks, and have insurance in case the unexpected occurs. Sounds good.
I’ve noticed lately that there is a trend with bare feet in commercials. I hope that this is a positive thing and not a fluke, one can only hope.
They wrote “Do not attempt” as subtitles for skateboarding on the road and a brief motorbike stunt but luckily not under the rockclimbing scene. So you can attempt that even if you aren’t a professional stuntman. I’ll just go out and do my own amateur stunt of the day!
Hahah. If they were going to put that in why bother showing it? It totally undermines their message.
