This is just a short little blurb, complete with picture, from a September, 1916 Philadelphia newspaper.
It is really not much more than a picture with a caption.
And the description is a bit wanting.
Barefoot, they walked from South Woodstock, Conn., to Sharon, Mass., in four days as a “back to nature” experiment, which they found rough on the feet. They are pupils of a school of outdoor dancing.
But that’s it.
It does leave one wondering a bit about it all, doesn’t it?
