I have always been a fan of Pablo Picasso’s sketch, Don Quixote.
We have a reproduction sitting above our fireplace.
Well, actually, “reproduction” isn’t quite the right word. Many years ago, I hooked a rug of it.
When folks asked me how I did it, “It’s just a simple bitmap.” (I also did Picasso’s El Viejo Guitarrista.)
Last Wednesday the Ohio Supreme Court turned down my last appeal of my Library case.
There comes a time when it must be recognized that windmills are impervious to being jousted, or at least that they need stronger forces for any effect to be noticed.
Let me end this with some words from Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra:

Although I read it as an English translation (my Spanish isn’t that good), I too am a big fan of Don Quixote and despite the inability to translate, I understand what you are saying. In my mind, one of the great things about Don Quixote is that he actually attempts to fight the windmills at all. Its not his naivete but his courage to be a knight in a world that has systemic flaws in it that I admire the most about his character. Good Job.
