Jaded

Fellow barefooter Lee Parker, the Chatauqua Barefooter, is in town this weekend for the Flint Ridge Knap-In. I met him last year at the same event, and we had time to take a short stroll along the Flint Ridge trail.

This time he came a day early, so we had the chance yesterday to head on down to Hocking Hills for something serious.

Ban That Shoe!

I’ve written before that businesses that are afraid of being sued by barefoot customers being injured somehow never never exhibit the same phobia when it comes to the shoes that really result in lawsuits.

Where the Heck Am I?

On Friday I decided to do a bit of exploring at a completely new place for me, the Vinton Furnace Experimental Forest. I’ve known about it for a while, but it is a longer trip from where I live, and I just never got around to going there.

And as sometimes happens in new locations, I spent a fair bit of time wondering just where the heck I was.
